This post is to commemorate one of e greatest days i had in my life(exc exams n a little problem)!!! Ok, so today is the release of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children US version (english version), a movie that i have been waiting for over a year. Finally. It really relieves me of the agonizing wait. It's true that i have the Japanese version of the movie but it's harder to understand as it's in a foreign language. Anyway i downloaded the translated script and read(and nearly memorised it) and just kept watching that soon i managed to understand the movie. To date, i've watched it 14 times since it's release in september last year. Many ppl think that i'm mad, but i'm not! I'm as normal as anybody else only having a extraordinarily high fanacitism of final fantasy.
Anyway just now after the language paper ones(which i find to be difficult), i went with the 'Wen Twins'(Wen Juan and Wen Eng) to TM to collect it. Since tomorrow there are still paper twos, we tried to study while eating in McDonalds. So we begin testing each other while eating and soon adopted a new method of studying, which i find to be effective but weird--studying while shopping. This way you won't feel much stress and being with friends help ease the pain of studying. We went round TM and CS testing each other along the way. A bad studying method for people who are easily distracted. =)
So come to the problem of the day. Not the exams cuz i dun care much abt them. But my mother. She called me to find out what was i doing(sth surprising since she usually dun even care where i am even if it's already quite late but now she does). She called me cuz of a little tiff we had ytd and asked where i am. I told her i was shopping and studying and she got angry. She refused to get my father to bring me sth i wanted here(he's coming here nxt week) and lied to me. i hate liars. She said it was only joking when i'm damn serious abt it. I don't know which is worse--a mother who tries too hard to understand you that she made a mess out of everything, or a mother who doesn't care for you but gives you whatever you want. I have both. I am so angry. She tries too hard to understand me when she obviously can't. Leaving me with a stranger i have hated since i was young, how can she ever understand me? Obviously, the results are destructive. Why the sudden change in attitude? Obviously becuz of exams. She always had high expectaions of me and can never be fully proud of me unless i topped the whole school(at least a class)! Independent of my marks. it's unfair. Now that i'm so used to her letting me have my way, then dun change it. The words she said to me today are not what she meant ytd. Ppl out there if you have a caring and reliable mother pls treasure her. Dun let it come to my state. i admit, it's pathetic.
Back to AC. I think that it woulld be seriously weird to hear the same ppl talking in a different voice and language from the Japanese version i've always watched. It's like the song 'Real Emotion' that ive been taking a liking to for the past few days. I normally hear Koda Kumi's version and thus when i hear Jade's version, it sounded foreign becuz the lyrics are different. I guess it's the same feeling. I've watched the trailer and heard some of their voices. The story of FF VII is very very long as it was a 50 hour long game. The record time for completing the game was 7 hours 55 mins 34 seconds. It's stated in the FF VII Ultimania Omega. Gameshark maybe? It sounded incredible. I really feel like learning how to create CG animation. the characters in AC looked so lifelike that they resemble real ppl. I remember my father asking me before if that's an acting by a real person or an animation. I know that they made use of real people to create it the animation sequences and did sth to it(i dunno wat). I'm confused.

Whee... So long never update my blog le. Now then i realize. Lol.
( ppl who r not fans of final fantasy can skip this whole paragraph=p)
Anyways just now morning i woke up early(8.30) to complete FF VIII. So i am already at Ultimecia's Castle. Yesterday i play until like mad fighting 8 bosses breaking the seals so that i can fight Ultimecia without restrictions. Anyways, the final battle itself was really tough. i game overed 4-5 times and once my plug came loose and my laptop went into hibernate mode when i'm actually winning soon! At that time i really gone berserk. So angry... 4 battles at one go with no break in between. Tiring. First is Ultimecia, then Griever, then Ultimecia-Griever, then the final form of Ultimecia. But it's actually worth it. The ending was sooo nice. I always love to watch endings, be it game endings or movie endings. Squall was lost in time and then found by Rinoa, unconscious, and Seifer, Fujin and Raijin fishing, Raijin was kicked into the water by Fujin. Haha. Laguna at Raine's grave and Ellone coming to accompany him, with Kiros and Ward at the background. Then as the credits roll past, there's this video taken at the party in Balamb Garden. Selphie going around videoing ppl until Irvine takes over. Zell eating so much food at one go that his mouth is so full and choked. Haha. When the screen moves to Rinoa, the battery of the video camera went flat. After the credits are over then Rinoa is seen with Squall at the balcony and a shooting star appeared... It's a really nice ending. Kinda different from FF VII which is not elaborated what happened after the Lifestream appeared to block Meteor and FF X which is very sad although all turns out well.

So after that I went to Pasir Ris mrt where we r supposed to meet for 2K'05 outing-reunion. Abt 20+ ppl turned up. We went to Pasir Ris park but it was raining, so we went to the pavillion and have a picnic there. Ya, so we just sat there, eat, talk etc... Then we went to a bicycle rental shop and rent bicycles leaving some things at the bicycle rental shop. Then it rain again, but we heck care and went on cycling under e rain. I seldom go Pasir Ris park, so i just realized there r horses there. Haha. So fun. Trying to catch up with one another, riding over puddles of water etc. By the time we stopped cycling, i was already 100% wet and 100% dirty by dirt. But it was really fun, although tiring too. Then we go white sands and ate McDonald's for dinner. Eat until so full, some more shivering since i'm wet from cycling under the rain. When taking mrt home not so bad, at least i'm no longer shivering. So exhausted.
